Celts were labeled as barbarian as an insult from the Greek's comparing their language to that of the bah of sheep. Which can be looked upon as an insult regarding the Celts and their Hyksos (shepherd kings) descended.

The Celts were named by the Greek's; who consider themselves to be strictly Ionian descendants.

The Dorian's were eventually conquered and absorbed into the sociological infrastructure of the Greek city/state model.
