The type of motif is important.
Does the person want to live in a
tent, a castle, a hall, manner house, a townhouse, a roman villa, a ranch
style house, Victorian, Edwardian, apartment, etc. the type of dwelling the
person chooses to live in is attracted to living in is as
important too the counts as the places they have lived.
Each and
every item they choose to decorate their living space is
also of equal importance.
Example the standard executive
office for a CEO would be stereotypically filled with items of a masculine flavor. As many reminders of
large “phallicist” scattered around presents those entering the office with
the idea this person is of great importance and has a high standing in their
hierarchal community.
Scholars on the other hand have books
and papers stacked in hapzadard ways all over. A desk so piled high
with forms and not yet completed papers to be published; giving the ideas of
an “absent minded professor”
An accountant is extremely neat
and tidy.
These types of decorations have their
own unique counts to them. Showing how the person spends their time and how
much time they spent on each task. The direction counts
of Tiwaz come into partnership. How much time a day is spent on x
fixing of ones environment.

fathers. Which is why I was not born in Tiffin Hospital, the friend of dads
had privileges and it was free.

Fehu, my first
months of life were at Grandma Welling’s house. And she was not even the
slightst bit happy about it. she was pleased about a baby,
and was semi-happy to have a new generation to the family. But she
had issues taking care of her now ex-daughter in law in a rather extreme
medical emergency. An emergency which just decades previous and in some
cases in the present kills the new mother through raging infections which
if they take hold, kill within hours.

informed mom with mom in better than 1000% agreement that she and I had
spent more than enough time with Wes’ family in Tifin and it was now time
for her to come home. Mom and I would move to Colrodo and move in with
uncle Pat. In his swinging bachelor pad. I did not find out till much
latter than the term swinging applied literally. One of the major issus
which came up over time is having a 6 to a 7 year old
underfoot removed the chances of being able to have a full on “lifestyle”.
But it also saved him from HIV. But it did not save Pat from working with
an encountering Ted Bundy and serial killer. A huge portion of Pat’s life
in Old Colorado City surrounded working with the Davis Hayes family.

hell of a culture shock.

6-12 mom and I lived at pats in Old Colorado Springs. However
we traveled a huge amount all over the place. Mom was a tuppeware lady, so
she had clients all over the city. Mostly on the west side up towards
manitou. Saying I did not fit into this culture is a mild understandment of
mythic proportions. I did not fit in almost to an exclusive amount. I want
from being known by about ¼ of the city and most of those 30 years of age and
older not only knew who I was but they knew my
dad, Mary Lou, and helen very well. They also knew CL,
the oldest citizens knew all too well Elmer Ogle. Elmer was Helens father.
Dad, Mary Lou, Helen, etc back about 5 generations had lived their entire
lives in the Mpales 224-Market streets. I was allowed in the house maybe 3
times. Once I remember. In Colorado Springs, their
was almost less than zero publically acknowledge history or heritage. The
history/heritage of the area was not myn. And the city of Old Corlado City
was the definition of hostile to Yankees’ not only was I a Yankee but
members of my family ahd actually fought against
the south. Huge portions of my family ahd fought against the Slave trade.
My education was strict and harsh regarding the people I was around. I ddid
not make lasting friends with a single one of my
classmates from that time. Minus one and we did not “know each other” till
post 30 and the invention of Facebook.

where live bccomes interesting and unbeleivabley difficult.
The first time mom and
I lived alone since I was 6. Just 6 years of living with pat and then pete
were trying to say the absolute least. However
when we moved to only be her and I, we did not return to living like we did
in tiffin. We lived similar to how we did minus
pat and pete. Very tense virtually every day we lived at 801 paradise lane.

allowed to allow my brains and my Ogle heritage allow my talents to
flourish in this house. That would not be the case.

I did some traveling, and I did some traveling on my own as I grew up my

Fehu, the economic down turn in
Colroado Springs following 12 years of Trickledown economics all but
bankrupted the city, and in part the state. The city itself could not
sustain the number of tuppeware ladies it had. So
mom was forced to find work elsewhere. Grandma Jeffries suggested we move
in with her Socorro. I could finish a bottom end nothing high school, and
mom could get a job being paid about 3 times more than she made ad a
tuppeware lady.

the summer I was 16 about to be 17 which was one of the most difficult
experiences I had. The culture shock was equal to fom tiffin to old
Colorado city. From the west side of the city to Socorro was going to a
Spanish city with a polytechnical insituate equal to Caltech and or MIT
butted up against it.

anger and frustration caught up to me and I left Socorro and traveled back
to Colorado. when get a few days to think and contemplate then flew to see
dad in florida. Spent the rest of the summer living in Grandma Welling’s
house in Flagler Beach FL. It did not take us long t realize, none of us
liked each other. All the questions I asked, few if any answers. Idid not
know how to ask the correcdt questions. To repeat that summer now. The questions
I would ask. But I was too ignorant to ask them

school. but in that year spent it mostly at tech trying to work with the
tech guys and not spent much time at all with my high school classmates. It
took months but I finally managed to have some
people I could hang around. Met GW and Darleane. A all too short
friendship, but long lasting.

Europe. Took a B class tour of the UK and Paris. Wpent 10 days in paris, it
was an interesting trop. But at the same time. The amount I spent on it, I
could have backpacked through the place for a year. A eurail pass, and
other accommodations.

girl. Very much not my type. 5’ brown/brown. And in need of a huge amount
more growing up. But acted mature enough. Absolutely no intimacy beyond
kissing, and a little other. But nothing more. We did not see each other
much after I moved out. Our relationship ended within about a week of
moving in to her moms house. I am not sure what I
did. but it was clearly my fault.

began to just live. Went to work, went home, till the job ended. Then began
to look for someplace else to work. Found a job at wndies. And one of a
string of bad decisions I quit in order to go to
work for a construction company. Which ended about 2 weeks or 3 later. I
threw my back out, which would not have happened at wendies. Then needed a
new place to live. Moved in with David and laura. Met David through bonnie
and galen playing AD&D. David and Laura were a couple of the other
players. We formed a very fast friendship.

almost eerythign in it. including a few family mementos. And my only
remaining baby blanket. Moved in with David and laura into the eliing room,
and spent the next months living there. Till it was decided that living in
the springs was a bad idea. Plus dave had
completely flunked out of the school he was attending. He had flunked out
because he had sopped going to class in the months before. So we decided to move back to Denver with me in toe.
Laura moved back home, wich was all but pure hell for her.
My last phone call with reagen
occure about 5 minutes after I got rhough the door after spending the
weekend in Denver for my birthday. She was 16-17 I was just 21. I did
nothing illegal with her, ut post 21, and the very idea is statutory rape.
So obviously. The last time I saw or interested with her was 5 days before
I hit 21 years old what a year.

living in Denver and the whole Reagan Bostwick situation. I begin to try
and figure what what I want to do. At no poin in this does the idea of
going back to tiffin and looking for work cross my mind. In fact at no point since the last time I wanted to go back
when I was past 6 had the idea crossed my mind at all. From 19-21 and the
idea had not crossed my mind at all.
I spent that summer in Socorro traveling back
and forth to alb almost eery day to take bartender training. Which took
more than a month. Which was absolutely the wrong direction at all.
Bartending for me would be worse than working construction. However I was still trying to break and existct nurture
OCs and CRs.

mate situation. A very small studio apt. but it was not too small for two
or three guys to in effect sleep their while they did other things during
the day. I was working in central city which was about an hour away at
Terps Casino
Interesting enough I lived here before I met
jeff, after I met the female I lived with next.
About a week after this casino, I attempted to
start a psychic reading job. It was closing in on oct.
I worked her office carnival’s holloween party,
as a psychic. The previous weekend I attended Mile Hi Con. Met Shakra.

lady’s house. Attempted to move back in with jeff, but that idea fell so
flat it was never going to happen. I went up to Central city and parked for
the night way up with one of the local towns folk. I lasted a day, I worked
with him. Scamming the casinos out of their “here is a free token” coupon.
It was totally unethical so I only did it for a
day.
I drove back to Denver leaving central city
behind me for the last time. Drove down to Denver called shakra, and was
invited to spent the next x days with them

Fehu, I was living with her, but
spent 4 days at the mile hi con. Which upset linn to no end. I was asked to
leave about 2 weeks later. Fortunately for me, I thought agout going back
to davids and his moms, but I did not think that had a shot. David and my
friendship was strained hard by the changes to his
life in the previous 18 moitnhs. His long time gf
was gone, he attempted to and was rejected by misty, and had been at
various times trying to make a better life but utterlyfailed. Going back to
him and his mom after linns was a bad idea. Also going back to jeffs was a
bad idea. But going back to galen and bonnies was a good idea.

1 Fehu this decision set the course
from that night to the present. This decision to call shakra was the most
faitful decision of my life. Second only to the day shakra dropped me off
at Linda Van Dyk’s apt in Bellingham WA because the freezing too cold temps
were making my flue no only worse but potentially life threatening. I was
on hard core anti-biotics, and my health care was totally insufficient. I
needed in a rather intense way medical care. But that was then this is now.
I really liked her and ed knew that the end of his relationship was at an
end. But he di dnot understand that she had already ended it, she had no
place to do. He was not abusive, he was jstu not on the samepage anymore.

The third time shakra and I moved in, we spent
months their. If only I was not running form
situation to situation I could have sat down and done the research needed.

The church couple for months

calls and asking for help. We finally called the correct church which had
the correct homeless program. The house directly next door to the church the
couple present had a room available. We traveled to the house, met them and
were invited in. we were lived their for months.
And everything mostly went fantatic. Minus the last 10 days when a very odd
thing happened and we kind of were asked to leave. But they had friends we
could stay with. So we left and were in the new
place a few hours later.

what an experience in just a few short days. It was about 10 days. But it also
in a way forced shakra and I to get married 4 23 1993. Although it did not
mean a thing to either of us. Over the next 2 years, I do not think either
of us even cared that the date came and went without notice. It was more of
a way to make the lady we lived with happy. She was more of a fanatical
Christian, not a “live your own life” Christian like the repivous family.

Fehu, shakra and I lived here from
April for the next 6 months. We moved out in approximately November Dec
into Old Corlado City.
But here is hwere htings were very very
interesting.
I walked around the city a couple dozen times
during the day. Leaving aout the time shakra wudl need “space” coming back
hours later.
We only lived in Maniout for a short time,
however shakra and I did start a business which did a huge amount. My
futhark book began here. About

shakra and I were livin in Manitou, I was given an operatuntiy to taken
over the mortgage and eventually purchase the spa building for myself.
I knoew I needed it, but it would be more than two
entire decades late that I would figure uout what I needed the spa building
for.
The opportunity came during the high point of the
summer when I wanted to put a museum of the craft/futhark in the
building. The owner was tired and upset over the constant struggles with the
building. So he gave me an offer. An offer I spent
the next month working on. An offer which I could not rase a single dime to
achieve. The offer was if I could rase 2000$, than
I could wo iteh the buildings free space anyytig I wanted.
As long as it was
free space, I could do any and all things I so chose.
But I would need to come up with 2000$ a month
every month to pay for what I wanted.a hint at
after a year we could negotiate for me to take over the building.
Of course that would
be 14,000$. At the time said I would do what I could do.
In the end, I did not raise a penny. However today
I could raise sufficient fundage to achieve that
goals simply because I now have what is needed for the ideas and
applications to raise 2000$ a month if I get out and worked with people. In
Bellingham in the present, the culture is very unreceptive to me and most
any of my ideas. In fact, my ideas are for the most part rejected out of hand.
If I had these ideas then; wow what I could have
done then. Of course the metaphysical communities
in colroado and in WA state are very very different communities.

almost every day walking around the city tisefl. The core of the city.
I had a license but I
spent most of the summer walking. Which allowed me to be at 175lbs whenn I was
next weight at emmas 6 months later. However I
spent that year in hard core active work, walking at least a mile or two a
day eery day. Sometimes several miles a day. Their
was little if any time to sit an dwrite my ideas dwn. Not being a person
who could write notes, and the like. Plus whe
happened next those ppaers if I did write anything would dhave had to be thrown
or given away. To arrive in Bellingham, I had to just abot literlaly go down
to all but nthign. I kept some paperwork, but most of that paperwork has
slipped from my possession.

Fehu, the property we lived at 312
ruxton ave, was sold and the rent was about to go up. We had no real
interest in staying since the place was the size of a postage stamp. Shakra
and I hardly manged to be civil with each other when I could leave for
hours a day almost every day.
Hwoer it was getting cold. Winter was not far
away.
We had mroevd a wall which seperated the main
room from the heater. Which was absolutely needed to maintain an 18’ gap
between the edge of the heater and anything touching it.
Plus we did
not survive the summer on just what we received from state disability. I
needed to sell about 4 rune sets a months to allow
enough income to pay for extras like food. We did not have enough
otherwise. We did not have enough for a phone.
We had to ask every time we needed groceries.
With winter, and being locked in, we had little
if any real choice. We had to move to a place were if a heavy snow storm
hit we would not be in trouble.
So we moved
out and into Old Colrado Cty in with Melody.
Melody had a kitten, we moved in to an old hotel
with a strict zero pets policy. We moved, had an
ok time. but the landlord figure out fast about the
kitten, by seeing it in the window. And said ‘get
out”.
We had to leave.

Fehu, a few hudred feet away in
the old clorado city court house, which had been vnerted to apartments. Their was a large one bedroom apart available. A huge
front room, a monsterly living room, and a large bedroom, with bathroom. It
was the secretarys office, and either a udges office and or a huge
conference room.
We lived here for several months will we could
no longer afford the rent. Melanie could not handle living with us and of
course she could not handle not living in manitou. So
she moved back as quickly as she could. Leaving shakra and I in old
colraodo city wthouth a way to pay the rest. We were about 100 short. We attempted to find a room mate, but attempts
failed. So we were forced to move. I did a huge
amount here regarding my futhark research my white book expanded. The green
book had been done in manitou but I took that and
made expansions.

which is a new age shop in old Colorado city just off colroado ave.

So after many
phone calls, many connectdions, and a large amount of wasted time. asked
james and he set us up with tammi. When we arrived at tammi’s, she was in
over her ead with 6 kids and of course much more than she could handle on
her own.
Shakra and I spent a portion of the winter with
her after leaving old colroado city.
We were given a car by Harrold bowker to leave
the area. Since colroado had proven to be a place which would siply not
work for us.
We left and headed to Arizona.

Fehu, we car camped or a while in
the car Harold gave us. An older car he no longer needed.
That car proven to be a lifelifeline.
It got us through az, to cali, and then it got
us to Bellinhgam Wa after about 8 momnths.
Arriving just before October 1994. The previous
year had been a whilewhin of trying to find places to live, generate money,
and of course heal from childhood trauma. Shakra admittedly had much more
trauma than I did. she was fighting against being lesbian, and I was
fihgint against both my (100% ignorant heritage) and the paths society
wanted versus the new age path I wanted.
The path I wanted was much more difficult since
I did not actually understand what I wanted.
I need to follow my heritiage which is British,
but not the pictdish side of the englihs.
That my inner self fights against with all due
hast. I find the pictish thing and associated
Alternative lifestyle stuff connectd to the
picts to b disgusting. And am always pulling away from it
However the path
of the ATEN which is different from the path of the Wicca. Which itself has
a very odd and unusual path.
We lived for a bit in flagstaff
Then for a few days in patty’s house, which
shemoved out of a bit later.

beautiful time together, soon devolved into a sea of miss communication. They
wanted something from us, which we could not figure out, and we did not
want anything from them which put us in very diffuclut position. Both
times we stayed with them, it was tense. The first time was really tense the second time was diamond tipped chain
saw tense. The second we left the second time, it was an almost welcome
releaf. On most sides. But we could not leave till we knew where we were
ggoing. And we did not figure out where we were going till just before we
headed back. Thanks to lee cagel and his “you need to go do Bellingham WA”
did we figure out what and hwere to go. However by
the time we headed back, shakra and I knew where to go. We were going to
head straight to Bellingham was as soon as we had the necessary fundage to
achieve that goal.

Fehu, we left heather and neals,
were were gone for about a month.
Headed straight to flagstaff, where we
encountered an SCA effect, we camped a couple miles from the event. Were their till the event was over. Could have stayed longer.
Went to the library. A huge acre or two large lawn was behind the library.
Where a lot of the city usually gathered to just hang out. Where we met Lee
Cagel, he said Bellingham Wa but that would have to wait. The next check
from the state was not due for a while.
We agreed to camp together.
We headed up to a different set of camp grounds, and set up shop. Spent a few days up with the
aspens. Then lee got his check, we headed towards Sedona. To a camp ground
he knew about. we spent a few days their. He told
us of a couple different camp grounds further south. We saw the
construction craines at Argo Santi and said
“interesting but not now”.
2 weeks in Prescott Valley, just outside Sedona.
A couple days in another camp site miles away.
We lost a day in our journey and did not know
the check from the state had already arrived. We were only allowed to stay
in the second camp site away from PV for about 5 days before were had to
leave. But it was also fortuitous. Since in the day we lost, we arrived at
the mail and found the check. We cashed it, and
had the gas to head to heather and neals. To pick up iteme we left and to
leave items we needed to. Raw materials for Jonah, and a few ther gifts.

Phoenix az to Bellingham

What a jroueny. It was a journey of pure instinct, and ryling on the
kindness of strangers and traverls aid.
We left to head from south of pehenix to just a mile south of Canada
with not even ¼ the needed amount to achive the job.
It would cost about 500$ in gas, and about 7 days of food. We had
about 150$ total and about a day and a half of food.
No were near enough.
So we stopped,
I sold some of my art for 50$
And I sold other art for a tank of gas
Stopped in large cities and received traverls aid 3 times. A full
tank of gas twice and 10$ in gas from another.
But we arrived and shakra was driving.
We drove through Bellingham to see what was farther north.
We drove to just shy of the peace arch.
We got off the road and found a nice place to park over night
About a mile south of the peace arch. Or two ti was in the next bay
south of the arch.
Spent the night.
Had enough money to explore a bit.
We were frugal enough to arrive with a bit of money
The first city wer were drawn to was Lynden. It was pretty and
inland.
We pulled in and was the museum.
We figured this would be the perfect place to enter and start to
eplore the area.
We went in and saw the museum. We did not know what bllingham was
like yet, had not stopped in bellingnham yet.
We were still in look around mode.
Spent few hours in
the museum and found it fascinating.
But knew it was a really good place to not
be. Shakra felt comfortable but that is mostly because the hard line
pro-slvery dutch descendants in the area and the residence of OKC OK had
the same philsphy she was very veron comfortable with.
One of her ancestors were a hard core full on member of the KKK who
had willingly and with full intent hung more than a little strange fuirt in
his time. he also conducgted rituals in lodge which had been outaled and
banned by the UGLE in the very early 1800s. but in pockets of the south
they were still done.
Shakra felt ery comofrtabel in the area.
But she also hated that part of herself.
We got in the car and headed south to Bellingham.
We got off in the center of the city and began to drive around.
I think she was driving.
We headed south on north state street. We drove through a huge green
bet and assume we just drove through the city. We were looking for
someplace to turn around.
We found the first right turn which did not appear to be an apartment
complex.
We turned in and saw boulevard park
Shakra fell in love the second she saw Blelingham Bay.

ever other night for while a couple weeks
This area of the country has an incredibly
unique and violetn history with my family.
The first time I was only in the area for about
3 years, does not mean my time in the area was not eventuful. It was so
full of events that I left a huge mark in the city which was still being
felt 2 full decades after I left.
The first wife died in the city and I met my
second wife. About a year after the first wife died wht second and I headed
out to explore around America and see what we could see. But that is a
story of antohertime.

When it became obvious that our time in flida
was at an end. It came with extreme dramatic flaire . In April,
the overage from UOP my last semester as an undergrad came and it was enough
for a small vacation to Bellingham. Instead of saving for emma’s retirement
and laving the area correctly with everything in a UHaul. We left the area twice,
without reall enough moniey to achieve more than the most basic of goals.
The last day we were in the apt, was the day a
huge lightening storm hit. The storm hit the building a couple times, hit
the electrical shed, and hit our AC unit. This of course about a month
after we came back from our mini-vacation. Where emma was reassured to an
extreme amount that she would be welcome in the area.
So we went
to Bellingham and came back about 2 weeks later.
We spent the next couple months working on her
retirement and moving all of our stuff from Orlando
to Bellinghma.
It was designed we would pack the car with as
much as it could hold. Then drive out. With her retirement, we could fly
back, get a uhaul and drive the stuff back. That second part never
happened. Things changed.
But on our way out.
We tralved up to st aug, spent the night in a
nice motel just outside of st aug. senette was busy so we did not stop in.
We made our way north through Georgia
Then a portion of Carolina on our way to Tennessee
Where we spent a few hours with her sister and her
brother. Which was just as nasty and difficult as it was the previous encounters.
However it did
not last long. It was blessed short.
We moved on to the next destination across the nation.
We zigzagged, up to Illinios, down to the very
bottom of Kansas
Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas share a tree way
border. We were within about 100 feet from leafving Missouri entierng
Kansas.
We went to Oswego Kansas arriving at the Oswego
Historical Society about 20 minutes before it closed. Emma’s family had been
in the area since just about the founding of Oswego, the historical society
made exceptions and allowed us to stay longer.
We then traveled through Wichita (past the Koch family
estate and research ffacilities. Same facilities BTK’s famil worked at and
he was conceived in the area).
Then west to Garden City Kansas. 
Garden City Kansas. Stopped at the history
museum.
John Dennis worked on at least one piece of furniture
taken out of the local river in the 1950s.
He was a master craftsman. When we entered the
museum, I immediately asked about the etable and wanted to see it. the
museum directed happened to bcommign out of the back room.
We went back into the back room.
Where he went directly to the table.
He knew all about the table. All about hwo
dumped it, when, etc.
But did not know a thing about who fixed it.
His daughter walking into the museum and he was informed
of the whole thing. the whole story,

On our way out of town. We went by the house she
and her family lived in for a while.
And talked about “in cold blood” which ouccured
not far away to the west and south of the city.
When we heaed to Colroado.
We would have been better off heading to the grand canyon instead. Then up Nevada, then to the paciic
north west.
We started to head north to colrodo springs.
We stayed at my usuall just off racine, it has changd
hands about 4 times since 1991.

was so bad. We had to not do a great deal in the springs due to weather.
We headed north through Denver and reversing our
path with dana 12 years previous.

this is where Emma and I currently live. It is a
nice place, large 2d,2b place. Nice living room, and semi-separate dinning
rom. Which for a while I used as a museum to house some of my dieas.

Uruz, this
apartmante has been used almost exclusively as a location to write. Issoate
myself from my surounings and wite. I have done from a finished bachelros at
the lions Inn, to 29 credit hours in this location. And About eight
schools.

Thurasaz, the
locations we have traveled within the area are almost exclusviely
conatniend with in the confines of Whatcom County. However
a couple trips to Seattle were done. Mostly I stay home an in bed writing. Occationsaly we go to a masonic lodge
meeting. Or appended bodies.
